The 64th-annual Colonial Williamsburg Antiques Forum will consist of informative lectures and workshops on 18th-century furniture, paintings, metals, maps, ceramics and textiles, as well as the latest acquisitions to Colonial Williamsburg’s museum collections. Tours of private historic homes and daytrips are also offered during the 2012 Colonial Williamsburg Antiques Forum, which will take place February 19-23, 2012. Golden Horseshoe to Host Millennium Golf Tourney

Colonial Williamsburg’s Golden Horseshoe hosts the 13th annual Millennium golf tournament Jan. 7-8, 2012. The “one-time-only” event began in 2000 and was so popular it returned the following year. The tournament consists of 36 holes on the Green and Gold courses. Saturday’s round begins with a shotgun start on the Green Course at 10 a.m., and the final round Sunday begins at 10 a.m. with a shotgun start on the Gold Course.

Saturday’s format is captain’s choice, while Sunday’s format is a four-ball (two-person, best-ball) format. Handicaps will be used to determine Saturday’s pairings. Flights will be determined by Saturday’s score. Teams are composed of two amateur golfers as defined by the USGA Rules of Golf. Each team’s 36-hole score will determine the winners.|

The entry fee of $410 per team includes tournament rounds and carts, practice rounds (pay cart fees only), practice balls prior to tournament rounds, tee gift, continental breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, awards presentation and Saturday evening buffet dinner. 2011 Event Guide to Busch Gardens

Busch Gardens today announced a spectacular line-up of concerts and events with performances by kid-friendly acts and some of the most recognizable names in the music industry. This spring, Busch Gardens is taking KIDsiderate to a whole new level with performances from Hip Hop Harry and DJ Lance Rock from Yo Gabba Gabba! that are perfect for the whole family.

Glory at the Gardens returns for another year in June with a sensational line-up of the top contemporary Christian and Gospel artists. This year Glory at the Gardens has expanded to Saturdays and Sundays in June. Busch Gardens is the place to be this summer for concerts with performances from some of the most recognizable names in pop and rock, including Pat Benatar, Colbie Caillat, Miranda Cosgrove and Neil Sedaka.
